Pictures

We had to say goodbye this morning to two members of the 'original 6' U.S. girls. Cathi and Alli (front row in blue and back row in brown) headed to Windhoek for de-brief, and will be flying out tomorrow. We will miss them dearly, and Rehoboth certainly won't feel the same without them!

Last weekend we had the fabulous priviledge of going to one of two 'cinemas' in all of Namibia to see High School Musical 3. We were able to take the Rowell girls, as well as two of the Rineer's girls (Christy is pictured here). We had quite the day and loved the movie :)

This is Luzelle and Fabiola, who live at the hostel at Rehoboth High School that Kristen and I have been spending time at. They are awesome girls who are totally interested in learning more about the Lord, and a huge source of joy in ministry here!

This is Nadiene. She's about 3 and has Tuberculosis. We brought some pipe cleaners last week to occupy our down time and she wanted to make some glasses... pretty cute :)

hi mackenzie,
i'm glad you sent your email today because it led me to your blog and this morning i have sat with coffee reading and you have very much ministered to my heart.
i'm thrilled you have young women to love! i watched you with your teenage friends here and i trust there will be lasting fruit there just as in Lincoln with mia, nicollette...all the girls you've poured into.
i know you long to share truth with the people there too and just to encourage you, you are walking in truth. that is seen and experienced by the people you interact with every day. i will pray for conversations though! and for wisdom with Pastor John. the Gospel is so much richer than the prosperity gospel.
you are loved and missed here! continue to press on! don't let your feelings dictate your beliefs (as hard as that is). God is with you. as a person who is outside of your situation, reading your words, it is obvious.
love you friend!
praying colossians 1:9-12 over you this morning

Hello Girlie

And a Happy Thanksgiving to you. I just wanted you to know I was thinking about you today and missing you very much. I said my rosary for you too! You do such good things it's an honor to be your favorite aunt (don't worry I won't tell the Susie! - HaHa) I love you and hope you are doing well. Keep up the good work.
